Tessa Worley has won her second gold medal at the alpine skiing world championship in St Moritz, Switzerland.

The Frenchwoman took the giant slalom by storm, producing a pair of superb runs on a deteriorating course to finish 0.34 seconds ahead of the American Mikaela Shiffrin, with Italy’s Sofia Goggia taking the bronze.

Worley, who won gold in the giant slalom in 2013, was part of the French squad that won the team event on Tuesday.
