An Australian mother and her three sons who had been missing for a day from a Japanese ski resort have been rescued.

An Australian mother and her three sons who had been missing for a day from a Japanese ski resort have been rescued.

An official said the four were discovered near a mountain trail shivering and showing signs of hypothermia.

The alarm had been raised after police received a call saying that several foreigners were missing.
