Water-skiing Santa and flying elves celebrate Christmas down the Potomac

Santa Claus ditched his traditional sleigh and donned water skis to speed down the Potomac in the US state of Virginia, this Christmas eve.

He was joined by the Grinch, on a water ski and later Rudolph and the gang joined in the fun too.
