New footage shows Malta plane crash fireball

<p>New footage has emerged of <a href="http://www.euronews.com/2016/10/24/at-least-five-dead-as-aircraft-believed-to-be-carrying-eu-border-officials">plane crash in Malta</a> that killed five people.</p> <p>Laurent Azzopardi saw the tragedy played out in front of him as he drove to work on Monday, October 24.</p> <p>A camera mounted on the dashboard of the car he was driving captured the plane’s descent and the subsequent fireball.</p> <p>The twin-propeller Fairchild Metroliner plane came down near the runway of the southern Mediterranean island nation’s main airport in the morning, sending smoke billowing into the sky. </p> <p>Three French defence ministry officials and two pilots died in the crash, reported Reuters.</p> <p>The small aircraft was conducting a surveillance mission over the Mediterranean for France’s defence ministry.</p>
