An explosion has ripped through a market in the Philippines killing at least ten people and wounding dozens more.

An explosion has ripped through a market in the Philippines killing at least ten people and wounding dozens more.

The cause of the blast in the home city of President Rodrigo Duterte is unknown.

He was in Davao at the time, but was safe and at a police station following the incident, his son, who is vice-mayor of the city told reporters.
