Spain have appointed Julen Lopetegui as their new coach.

The ex-Porto boss had previously been involved in the Spanish coaching set up at youth level, he led Spain to the title at the 2012 European Under-19 Championship in Estonia and the U21 European Championship in Switzerland.

The former goalkeeper replaces Vicente del Bosque who left his post following Spain’s disappointing showing at Euro 2016 in France.
