Investigators think Noor Salman may have had some prior knowledge of Sunday's deadly attack in a Florida gay nightclub

Orlando killer’s wife facing charges

The wife of the man who killed dozens of people at a gay nightclub in Orlando at the weekend could be charged in connection with the attack.

Noor Salman was married to gunman Omar Mateen.

What charges is she facing?

Prosecutors are looking at the possibility that Noor Salman was:

  • an accessory to 49 counts of murder
  • an accessory to 53 counts of attempted murder

It has been suggested she may have had some prior knowledge of the attack.

  • 350 people were inside “Pulse”
  • 49 people killed
  • 53 injured

For those who survived, the world has changed.

Survivor Angel Santiago hid in a disabled toilet with 15 other people.

“When it didn’t stop, when the gunfire kept going and it started getting louder…I did think to myself, wow, this is really happening and this is probably it for me,” Santiago said.
