Jose Mourinho is set to become the new manager of Manchester United following three days of negotiations.
Although no contract has been signed yet negotiations between Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes and senior United officials have concluded and an announcement is expected to be made on Friday according to the British press.
The Portuguese has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in December.
In his two spells with the Blues Mourinho won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup crown and three League Cup successes.
At the helm of the Red Devils he will replace Dutchman Louis van Gaal who himself was sacked on Monday just two days after United won the FA Cup.
