Man City make first Champions league quarter finals

Manchester City have broken their champions league hoodoo and are into the quarter finals for the first time.

The work was done last week when they travelled to Kyiv and beat Dynamo 3-1 , because on Tuesday night when the Ukrainians came to Manchester nobody scored in a turgid goalless draw.

Kyiv had no cutting edge, and City knew they didn’t have to work too hard to go through. Sterner tests await.
