WRC Rally Mexico: Latvala leads Ogier going into day 3

Finland’s Jari-Matti Latvala produced yet another flawless run to build a lead of 32.1 seconds after Day 2 of Rally Mexico.
The Volkswagen driver set the pace during the morning loop, and was then able to keep nearest rival Sebastien Ogier at bay through El Chocolate and Las Minas.
Latvala, who will now benefit from being better placed on the running order, is 1 minute and 15 seconds up on Dani Sordo with Andreas Mikkelsen and Hayden Paddon sitting fourth and fifth respectively.
Meanwhile Thierry Neuville endured a disappointing day. The Belgian, who came into the day in second place, retired in the opening stage after his car’s suspension broke.
