An elephant ran amok causing chaos for hours during a festival in India’s southern Kerala state. It’s unclear why the animal went berserk and started flinging away parked vehicles, especially motorbikes and auto-rickshaws. It was one of five elephants lined up as part of a ritual at remote Pulappatta village in Palakkad district. No injuries were reported.
