Porto have sacked manager Julen Lopetegui after one and a half seasons in charge.
The decision to dismiss the 49-year old comes following a poor run of results and performances.
Performances that has failed to win over the club’s notoriously unforgiving fans.
With that said the club – who won the champions League in 2004 – are third in the league only four points off the top and are still in the Portugues Cup.
He was halfway through his three year contract at the 27 times Portuguese league champions.
