Walter Palmer from the US who killed an African lion will not be charged.

Officials in Zimbabwe said the dentist had obtained legal authority before the hunt.

The dead Lion, one of the most prized in Zimbabwe called Cecil had been fitted with a GPS collar as part of a research project.

The dentist faced a global backlash after he was identified as the killer.
