Ferrari retain Raikkonen for 2016 season

Kimi Raikkonen will stay with Ferrari for at least another season after the italian glamour team retained the Finn’s services for the 2016 campaign.

The 2007 world champion started the season strongly but has come under criticism following a poor run of form.

The 35-year-old was out of contract at the end of this year, although Ferrari had an option on his services

As the Formula one season resumes this weekend in Belgium following the summer break Raikkonen sits fifth in the standings 126 points behind leader Lewis Hamilton.
