Edin Dzeko has joined Serie A side Roma on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
Only last summer the 29-year-old Bosnia-Hercegovina international signed a new four year contract extension at the Etihad but is now heading to Italy in a loan deal worth four million euros.
Roma also have the option to make the move permanent for a further 11 million euros – a move that is likely after Manchester City’s recent 68 million euro acquisition of Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling.
