Liverpool complete Benteke deal

Liverpool added to their ranks on Wednesday when they completed the signing of Belgium international striker Christian Benteke

The 24-year-old has signed a long term contract with the Anfield club worth the equivalent of 46 million euros.

The Reds triggered a release clause in his contract with Aston Villa to make him their seventh summer signing.

At Villa Benteke scored 49 goals in 101 games after moving from Genk in 2012.
