There are reports of casualties after a suspected suicide bomber blew himself up at a Shi’ite mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia during Friday prayers.

The Saudi authorities have confirmed an explosion took place and say an investigation is underway.
Reports quoting a witness and a Shi’ite militant speak of several people having been either killed or wounded in the attack in the village of al Qadih.
