Barcelona will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2-2 draw against Sevilla in la Liga when they take on Paris Saint Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash on Wednesday.

These teams have met each other before in the competition, with the French Champions edging out the Catalans 3-2 at home in a Group F game this season before losing 3-1 at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona will have to make do without Dani Alves while the French champions are suffering from an injury crisis ahead of the game.

Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the first leg against his former club following his Chelsea dismissal while Marco Verratti and Serge Aurier will also be suspended.

Elsewhere Bayern Munich travel to Portugal to play the first leg of their quarter final tie against Group H winners FC Porto.

Captain Jackson Martinez and Adrian Lopez are back in light training but won’t be ready in time while the German giants will be without Bastian Schweinsteiger and Frank Ribéry.

Jérôme Boateng, who was rested for Saturday’s 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt because of a minor muscle problem, is back in the squad.
