Hillary Clinton is expected to confirm this weekend that she will seek the Democratic nomination for president in 2016.

In keeping with the times it is thought she will use social media to make the initial announcement.
At a news conference at the summit of the Americas in Panama City, President Obama was asked for his reaction the news.
“I think she would make an excellent president, and I’m not on the ballot. So I’m not going to step on her lines. When she makes a decision to announce I’m confident that she will be very clear about her vision for the country moving forward – if she announces.”
The wife of former president Bill Clinton is the overwhelming favourite for the Democratic nomination and as yet no other major figure from the party has come forward to challenge her.
