The Slovenian fans certainly got their moneys worth on Friday as the ski jumping season heads towards a thrilling climax.
Peter Prevc won the penultimate event of the season on home soil in Planica to close the gap on overall leader Severin Freund.
Prevc thrilled his home support when cleared 248.5m in his first attempt before jumping 233m, which earned him a maximum score of 20 by all five judges to claim victory ahead of compatriot Jurij Tepes.
Four Hills winner Stefan Kraft completed the podium while overall World Cup leader Freund of Germany had to settle for fourth place.
That left him with only a 44 point lead over Prevc with one stop left of the season – which takes place at the same resort on Sunday.
