Sweden’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be suspended for losing his temper following PSG’s surprise 3-2 defeat at Bordeaux on Sunday.

Although the 33-year-old later apologised for his comments directed at the referee as well as his host country, politicians were quick to react with Marine Le Pen of the far-right Front National saying that if he did not like France he could leave.

Ibrahimovic, who recently returned from a two-match suspension following an altercation with a Saint-Etienne player, faces a new ban which could see him miss a crucial fixture against Marseille on April 5.
