Chilean writer Luis Sepulveda has been taken to a hospital in Italy’s north-eastern city of Pordenone, where he was taking part in a festival.
On Friday night he had been due to appear with the Modena City Ramblers but the author sent an sms from hospital to the organizers, who had to cancel the event. Doctors suspect pneumonia.
