Two NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station have carried out the first of three scheduled spacewalks to put together new docking ports.

Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Terry Virts are preparing cables and communications for the ports to allow future crews on US commercial spacecraft to dock the space station.
