Morocco have been banned from the next two African Nations Cup tournaments as punishment for withdrawing from hosting the 2015 finals.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has also been fined approximately 880 000 euros and ordered to pay just over 8 million euros in damages to the Confederation of African Football and their partners.
The 2004 finalists had asked for the tournament to be postponed over fears of the spread of the Ebola virus before failing to respond to a CAF deadline in November to confirm whether they would go ahead with hosting.
