Palestinians clash with Israeli forces in Bethlehem

Just two days before Christmas, dozens of Palestinians, some dressed as Santa Claus, clashed with Israeli forces at a checkpoint in Bethlehem, revered as the birth place of Jesus. The demonstrators were there to protest what they called the “occupation” and “apartheid” imposed on the West Bank by Israel.
