Protesters in Lisbon marched on Portugal’s parliament on Tuesday as politicians voted on the governments 2015 budget plans.

The march was the culmination of five days of demonstrations organised by one of the country’s biggest trade unions the General Confederation of Portuguese Workers (CGTP).

Thousands responded to the union’s call to the government to cut taxes and create more jobs.
