The barricades are coming down in Hong Kong. They were close to the government headquarters near Citic Tower and had left parts of the street blocked. Commuters and taxi drivers faced a disrupted route to the central business area.

They had been erected by authorities over 50 days ago after Hong Kong’s pro-democracy Umbrella Movement kicked off.
