At the World Travel Market 2014 in London, the leading event for the global travel industry, euronews spoke to Chris Diaz from Kenya Airways about how the airline upgraded its product offer in Africa on a large scale.
“First and foremost we have invested in a new fleet, we have the youngest fleet in Africa. Kenya Airways has won the Best Airline Award in Africa for Business Class. So in terms of our Business Class product it is the best in Africa. We have dream-liners 787, with flat beds and we have the world’s best in-flight entertainment systems, mood lights. So in terms of product it is fantastic. We have just launched brand new lounges in Nairobi and we continue to expand with more experience in terms of food, wines, and a lot of training to our staff.”
