Sweden's capital city is covered with a thick layer of snow for the first time in the wintery weather season as temperatures reached -4°C.
In Berlin, residents woke up to find the German capital's iconic landmarks blanketed in a dusting of white after the first snowfall of the winter, with even more snow forecast for much of the next week.
