Thailand celebrates the annual water festival, which has become a major tourist attraction, from April 13 to 15.

The Songkran festival, which marks Thai New Year, is often referred to as the world’s biggest water fight – a time when revelers splash water on each other. Everyone, young and old, is fair game.
