The UK's Northern Ireland minister has resigned, reportedly because of ill-health.

It comes as Prime Minister Theresa May plans a cabinet reshuffle.

Newspaper reports cite an unnamed government source as saying Brokenshire is stepping down because of health reasons.

He led efforts to restore the devolved Northern Irish executive after power-sharing collapsed in 2017.
