A mysterious woman called ‘Sue’ left social media users in the UK baffled after the name was discovered written in a field.

The puzzling message ‘Sue x’ was sighted by the National Police Air Service’s Benson helicopter in Oxfordshire.

It posted an image of the message on Twitter with the hashtag ‘Who is Sue’ in a bid to solve the mystery.

People suggested the message could be an advert for various companies or an attempt to get onto Google maps.

The message was even picked up by a satellite in space.
