Lukaku won hands down to give United the lead and send shivers through the city faithful after their recent spate of dodgy keepers.

Two minutes later Henrikh Mkhitaryan played in Marcus Rashford who glided the ball home in what proved to be the last of the night.

Still no smiles from Jose, but he Pep shared a muted embrace

Man United 2-0 Man City.
