Czech President Milos Zeman got a red card from protesters on Wednesday night as thousands gathered in central Prague calling for him to quit.

Growing numbers of voters accuse Zeman of drifting too close to Moscow who has repeatedly spoken out against EU sanctions imposed on Russia over its involvement in Ukraine.

Anti Zeman sentiment has been marked this week as The Czech Republic celebrated the 25th anniversary of the fall of communism.
