The European Parliament has finally agreed on a seven-year budget plan, after months of disagreement and sectarian and national clashes over the deal.

Funding will be cut below one-trillion euros, while billions of euros will be frontloaded to fight youth unemployment and give a boost to small businesses.

Chris Burns hosts an EU budget showdown. His guests are conservative MEP Richard Ashworth, socialist MEP Ivailo Kalfin, and startup guru Juuso Koskinen.
