Estonian slackliner Jaan Roose completed a 160‑metre tightrope walk high above central Seoul, drawing crowds along Cheonggye Stream as he crossed.

Estonian slackliner Jaan Roose has completed a 160‑metre tightrope walk above central Seoul, crossing between the Koreana Hotel and the Donga Media Center in Gwanghwamun on 1 October 2026.

Footage shows Roose moving carefully along the line suspended about 120 metres above the ground, while residents gather below to watch and film the stunt over Cheonggye Stream.

Students and passers‑by stopped to record the walk on their phones. The crossing drew steady onlookers along the stream as Roose kept his balance above the urban canyon.
