Dozens of dolls and stuffed animals were laid out on Thursday in front of Colombia's Attorney General's Office to protest the high number of child sexual abuse cases and the slow pace of investigations.
SOS Children's Villages Colombia organised the display to show what it called the silent voices of children who cannot speak for themselves. The group says 175,000 children entered the protection system in the past three years because of sexual violence at home.
Despite its yearly protest, the organisation warns that only a small share of cases ends with a sentence.
