Authorities issued urgent weather warnings, prompting the evacuation of the popular Woodstock der Blasmusik festival, disrupting plans for over 100,000 expected attendees.
In Tyrol, hailstorms caused significant damage to crops and vehicles.
Meanwhile, in Styria, fierce winds uprooted trees and led to the derailment of a train, forcing 50 passengers to disembark.
Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene, and according to officials, no injuries have been reported.
