Outside the Norway's parliament building in Oslo, Japanese atomic bomb survivors, accompanied by local children handed paper cranes to Norwegian politicians. They said the cranes represented their wish for a world without nuclear weapons.

Around thirty people from Japan gathered outside the Norwegian Parliament in Oslo ahead of Tuesday's Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, which will honour Nihon Hidankyo.

This Japanese organisation is made up of survivors of the 1945 atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Together with local children, they handed out paper cranes to Norwegian politicians.
