Video. Czechs left without electricity and drinking water following the flood

The flooding in the Czech Republic is easing, but South Bohemia is still at risk, with many households continuing to lack electricity and drinking water.

The number of areas under flood warnings is steadily decreasing in Czech Republic, with conditions improving in the northeast.

While parts of Opava and Olomouc still face a third-level flood warning, the flood defences in Olomouc have been effective.

In Bohumín, many households are still without electricity, and a fault with the water network has caused some areas to lack drinking water, prompting the town hall to dispatch water tankers to affected regions.
