Video. Mud, damage and displacement: Poland battles with severe flooding

Updated:

Severe floods continue to affect parts of Central Europe, with some areas already past the peak and others still facing danger.

Floodwaters in the Polish city of Glucholazy are receding, but many residents are struggling to clean mud-filled homes and repair damage caused by the disaster.

While the number of displaced individuals has dropped from 50 to 35 in 24 hours, as some people have returned home or moved in with relatives, the city is still largely without electricity, water, or internet.
