Video. State of emergency in Oklahoma as tornadoes kill at least four

Updated:

At least four people are dead after a tornado swept through Oklahoma late on Saturday, levelling buildings, trees and knocking out power for tens of thousands of residents.

Authorities said on Sunday one of the deceased is a child and four others were injured.

Emergency crews are assessing the extensive damage to homes and businesses from the high winds, hail, and flooding, as dozens of reported tornadoes wreaked havoc in the nation's midsection since Friday.

Oklahoma and five other states, including Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas were still on flood watch on Sunday.
