An unnamed protester poured red liquid on herself while on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday.
The woman was wearing a dress with the colours of the Ukrainian flag during the demonstration. A security guard quickly moved her off the steps of the Palais des Festivals during the screening of the film 'Acid'.
Photographers then surrounded the woman before she was escorted away.
