At least 3,500 people have died in quakes felt in Syria and Turkey.

Victims are being treated in the emergency ward of the Bab al-Hawa hospital, located in Syria's Idlib region, following a deadly earthquake which struck at 4.17am on Monday. 

The Bab al-Hawa hospital is located in the rebel-held northern countryside on the border with Turkey. 

Syrian rescuers and civilians are still searching for victims and survivors in the area.
