Rubber Trump sells out

A factory in Japan is struggling to cope with orders for rubber masks of US President-elect Donald Trump.

Takahiro Yagihara, executive director of the mask factory Ogawa Studio in Saitama, north of Tokyo, said they are working non-stop to catch up with a flood of orders to produce masks of Trump following the US election.

The factory is trying to produce as many as 350 a day, up from 45 before the election.

The rubber mask emphasises Trump’s characteristic hair style and costs 2,400 yen, or 22.40 US dollars.

The factory is said to be the only one in Japan that manufactures rubber masks.
