Smart Regions speaks to Pierre Verbeeren, the Director General of an initiative in the Brussels region that's bringing health care and social services together.

A unique social inclusion project in Belgium aims to provide a range of health care and social services for everyone all under one roof.

The social initiative, part-funded by the EU's Cohesion Policy, has two integrated health care and social centres in the wider Brussels region. The ultimate goal is to make it much easier for the most vulnerable members of society to access the different types of care available.
