ADIPEC 2025 highlighted a major leap in energy innovation, featuring AI-powered emissions detection, offshore drone monitoring and autonomous well solutions that promise lower methane intensity, stronger safety performance and more efficient, data-driven production across the sector.

At ADIPEC 2025, new AI and digital technologies took centre stage as energy producers accelerated plans to cut methane and strengthen operational efficiency. Regional operators showcased satellite-based emissions tracking, offshore drone detection and digital twin models supporting lower-carbon gas development.

Executives said these tools can stabilise production while reducing environmental impact, with autonomous well optimisation and real-time safety analytics set to reshape field performance across the Caspian. The deployment of scalable, fit-for-purpose AI solutions was presented as a key step toward near-zero methane emissions in line with growing global and regional transition goals.
