The 10th Azerbaijan Grand Prix brought thousands of international visitors to Baku, highlighting Formula 1’s growing impact on tourism, hospitality, jobs and the wider local economy.

Race weekend has become a major fixture in Baku’s tourism calendar, bringing international visitors and a surge in activity across hospitality, retail and other businesses.

The 10th Azerbaijan Grand Prix also highlighted the contrast between the modern circuit and the historic Old City.

More than 92,000 visits were recorded over the four-day event, including more than 17,000 international fans who watched the race live from the grandstands. Fans from more than 120 countries bought Grand Prix tickets, while thousands of staff, volunteers and marshals were involved in organising the event, strengthening its wider economic and tourism impact.
