Severe floods have destroyed the town of Stronie Śląskie in southwest Poland, following the overflow of a nearby dam.

The town's streets were completely submerged, leaving residents without electricity, water, or internet access. Initial estimates place the damage at 1 billion zlotys (€234m). The impact on the community is immense, with significant concerns about the long-term recovery process.
