Man shot dead by police in London after 'terrorist-related' stabbing incident

LONDON — A man was shot dead by armed police officers in a "terrorist related incident" in south London on Sunday, police said.

"At this stage it is believed a number of people have been stabbed," the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

Investigators said the incident has been declared as "terrorist-related" and asked the public to avoid the area while they deal with the incident.
